Driver worth calculations...

Hi guys, i've been crunching some numbers on the worth of the drivers in the game, and i found some differences between my calculations and yours...

I'll show you my calculations below, could you tell me where our differences come from please?

Carlos Sainz
Our calculations are the same up until the European GP.
On this GP we both start out on 18.490.000
Sainz got these results: P1 #9 (+140.000) P2 #6 (+200.000) P3 #12 (-100.000) Q #13 (-140.000) R #21 (-500.000)
Add these numbers to the starting amount and the result is 18.090.000
In the game the result is 18.190.000 so that is 100.000 too much.
After the Austrian GP Sainz should be worth 18.270.000 but your result will probably come to 18.370.000

Jenson Button
Our calculations are the same up until the Canadian GP.
On this GP we both start out on 14.840.000
Button got these results: P1 #12 (-100.000) P2 #7 (+180.000) P3 #13 (-120.000) Q #12 (-120.000) R #22 (-600.000)
Add these numbers to the starting amount and the result is 14.080.000
In the game the result is 14.180.000 so that is 100.000 too much.
After the European GP my result is 14.400.000 but the game comes to 14.500.000 (this shows our calculations are the same again, as the gap remains 100.000)
After the Austrian GP Button should be worth 15.040.000 but your result will probably come to 15.140.000

Fernando Alonso
Our calculations are the same up until the European GP.
On this GP we both start out on 15.420.000
Alonso got these results: P1 #4 (+240.000) P2 #11 (+100.000) P3 #11 (+100.000) Q #14 (-160.000) R #19 (-350.000)
Add these numbers to the starting amount and the result is 15.350.000
In the game the result is 15.400.000 so that is 50.000 too much.
After the Austrian GP Alonso should be worth 14.970.000 but your result will probably come to 15.020.000

Max Verstappen
Our calculations are the same up until the Monaco GP.
On this GP we both start out on 19.450.000
Verstappen got these results: P1 #5 (+220.000) P2 #4 (+240.000) P3 #5 (+220.000) Q #21 (-350.000) R #18 (-300.000)
Add these numbers to the starting amount and the result is 19.480.000
In the game the result is 19.830.000 so that is 350.000 too much. (!!!)
After Canadian GP the gap remains 350.000 (21.190.000 game vs 20.840.00 me), so again same calculations.
After European GP the gap remains 350.000 (21.710.000 game vs 21.360.00 me), so again same calculations.
After the Austrian GP Verstappen should be worth 22.580.000 but your result will probably come to 22.930.000

Daniil Kvyat
Our calculations are the same up until the European GP.
On this GP we both start out on 24.390.000
Kvyat got these results: P1 #17 (-200.000) P2 #14 (-140.000) P3 #9 (+140.000) Q #7 (+200.000) R #22 (-600.000)
Add these numbers to the starting amount and the result is 23.790.000
In the game the result is 23.890.000 so that is 100.000 too much.
After the Austrian GP Kvyat should be worth 22.730.000 but your result will probably come to 23.730.000

Felipe Massa
Our calculations are the same up until the Canadian GP.
On this GP we both start out on 27.490.000
Massa got these results: P1 #14 (-140.000) P2 #13 (-120.000) P3 #10 (+120.000) Q #8 (+180.000) R #20 (-400.000)
Add these numbers to the starting amount and the result is 27.130.000
In the game the result is 27.180.000 so that is 50.000 too much.
After European GP the gap remains 50.000 (27.380.000 game vs 27.330.00 me), so again same calculations.
After the Austrian GP Massa should stay 27.330.000 as his results amount to 0, if my calculations are correct.
So your result would stay 27.380.000 (which is still 50.000 too much).

All my other driver calculations are the same as yours.
Hope this is clear enough for you to find out where the differences came from...

 Thanks for reporting this case.

At first look the reason for difference with Carlos Sainz points is because he ended the race at 20th not 21st position.
Not checked all but for Max Verstappen seems that he was missing from the official qualification results and then later he was added as 21st. This change was not registered at our system.

Seems the early published results lately are not very correct even they are at official web sites. Will have to develop some verification logic.
