Late payment to enter the race weekend after its started

Hello,

What do you think about being able to pay your race entry fees when the game has been locked down for a weekend race if you have forgotten to pay your entry fee? The punishment for forgetting to pay on time is that you don't get any race winnings, but you still get all of the points you are entitled to if you had entered. The cut off point could be 1 hour before the actual race starts?

The reason I ask is that I have a few friends that still manage to forget to enter their F1 team for a race weekend until its too late, I forgot once last year but haven't since you set up the reminders options. 

I think this will help people stay interested in the game for longer as losing a weekends worth of points can be irrecoverable from in a league and cause you to not bother with the rest of the season.

Thanks for coming with idea to improve the game.
I'm also thinking for options to improve the entry taxes but I'm afraid that your suggestion could lead to confusions especially for the results after practices and qualifications. At some point there are will be one standings and after you did not pay for the race other.

Currently I'm working on browser notifications and at some point also android app with phone notifications.

There should only be one points standings with my idea, it just means you get a second chance to pay your entry fees on either the Saturday or maybe the Sunday morning, but you have to remember to pay them. If you pay your entry fees late on say the Saturday or Sunday morning, you forfeit any race winnings that you would be entitled to, but still get your points. If you forget to pay after the race has started then you obviously aren't a true F1 fan :p If its not possible or leads to confusion then no worries, its just that we start the season with 300 or so teams, but the active teams now seems to have dropped down to 250 or so; maybe people would still be active if they got a 2nd chance to enter the race.

If you could create an app for the iPhone then that would be cool :)

 This might not solve the issue, but maybe it could make it less problematic: Make all fees payable from the start. Or split it in two: all fees before the summer break payable from the start of the season, and then after the summer break the rest of the fees made payable...
This way we could pay more fees in advance and reduce the risk of forgetting to pay...
