Incorrect Pitstops data in China.

The drivers were routed through the pits by the safety car. This seems to have been incorrectly marked as a pitstop, when in reality (most) didn't stop.

Surely, only the actual stops should be counted as pitstops...?

Re. Incorrect Pitstops data in China.

Currently the results are based on the official results from https://www.formula1.com/en/results.html/2017/races/960/china/pit-stop-summary.html.
Lets wait to see if they are going to fix it and also how FIA will publish pitstop summary.

Re. Incorrect Pitstops data in China.

Same information was released from FIA http://www.fia.com/events/fia-formula-one-world-championship/season-2017/race-classification-27

Re. Incorrect Pitstops data in China.

Yep, I hear what you're saying. But it's still clearly wrong and makes a mockery of the pitstop bonus points (yes, I am missing 5 points).

Hopefully you will fix it before Wednesday as it will make a difference to some team's winnings.

Re. Incorrect Pitstops data in China.

Unfortunately we can not fix the official results. Have checked several sources and for example they all say that Lewis Hamilton made 4 pits.
I completely understand your point but if F1 rules says that going through the pit lane is counted as a pit stop than we can not do anything.
Any other action will make difference between results we have and the official reports.

Re. Incorrect Pitstops data in China.

PitSTOP, the clues in the name! ;)

Its easy to see when drivers actually stopped from the time data. Think you need to fix it, or change the name of "pitstop bonus" to "entering the pitlane bonus".

Re. Incorrect Pitstops data in China.

I completely understand but the 'wrong' data comes from the official sources. If they have these stops in their PIT STOP SUMMARY
than we should count them.
